A thirst for classic wholesome tv shows

Little House on the Prairie is known affectionately here as a wholesome show, and i wish here to express a thirst that it ignites for the consumer in me.

Now the only other related show i have is Highway to Heaven, which isn't remastered, and horribly packaged, and i may be missing at least one disc of it, but if my LHotP binge continues i might find it in me to dust HtH off and enjoy the living heck out of it, AND look forward to these other shows

The Waltons is the next one surely to get, but i also would like to hearken back a bit further with another 2 shows i have in my mind as kindred competitive entities -- Leave It To Beaver, and Father Knows Best ... you know things that would make The Addams Family and The Munsters seem positively shocking and immoral.

Then such things as The Andy Griffith Show ... and then more Westerns to accompany Gunsmoke which i am determined to get, shows such as Maverick, Rawhide and Have Gun Will Travel. The other day saw there was some Hop Along Cassidy, but i'd only get that if Westerns took a mighty deep hold of my soul.

To have old things that are like time capsules, things that couldn't be made these days, it feels important to have a little library of such things.

I remember my sisters loving Little House on the Prairie and trying to make us boys watch it growing up. Side note, the neighbor friend guy with the beard played offensive lineman for Byu.
