I recently started living in England. [I Love The Tv Show Arrow]

I would really love to find a girlfriend, but I noticed that people here don't just chat up each other unless they know each other. Makes it difficult to know anyone. My neighbours totally ignore me. How can I get myself a girlfriend? I tried one dating site, but almost all the women there had kids. I'm not a big fan of kids, TBH. What can I do. I'm a bit lonely.
