@faery I had the other end of it w my one grandfather, who outlived my grandmother. He remarried .. with a pre-nup with terms for how much his new wife was guranteed on a sliding scale of years spent in the marriage. I kid you not.

@faery It was her idea .. and we all gave it the side eye. That said, it did protect his considerable assets / family trust when he passed.

@BrandNewMan Short-term, so I agree it was a good deal for the family. Sorry you lost your grandpa, but happy to hear he lived a long and fruitful life 🤗
