I Have Always Been Interested In the Titanic
Would Titanic have steered clear of the iceberg if she didn't go into reverse? I believe that this negated the effect of the central propeller on the rudder.

There is a fascinating documentry on Netflix that describes the results of a full 10yr investigation of the Titanic. I put it on the other nite, thinking it would make me fall asleep. It had.quite the opposite effect! The author not only answes every question about the event, but actually determines the cause, and PROVES IT -- solving a mystery that is over 100 yrs old. Definitely worth your time!!
