Why do people do this

So I came out of my office to get some water and my worker asked me how things were going.

I said things were fine but it was freezing in MY office.

He says what are you talking about it's not cold in here you must be crazy.

I said well it's cold in my office.

And he says I highly doubt that. It's definitely not cold in there.

I mean why say that. Yes it is cold to me, in fact I turned on my little office heater to warm myself up.

Do people just want to argue just to argue?

I think some people just want an argument and can't leave well enough alone. 😕

@Barefooter25 it's just annoying to me. I get he might not be cold but to argue that I'm not. He's young so maybe that is part of the issue lol

@Cigarguy Believe me, being young has nothing to do with it. I have encountered people I used to work with over the years who are probably twice as old as your co-worker and they have the maturity level of an 11 year old brat.

@Barefooter25 it was just the fact he called me crazy and said it definitely wasn't cold, how would he even know he didn't come into my office at all. I just need to not come out of my office anymore 😔
