The Muppets movies are such classics.

When we first saw that movie, my sister talked about how hilarious it was that they had Long John talk down a lynch mob by ripping into them for giving him the Black Spot on a page from the Bible, and she didn't believe me when I said that was taken straight from the book.

I'm pretty sure she's read the book by now, but she still doesn't believe me; in fairness, it's a perfectly Muppet thing to do.

I am watching this like those films with a surprisingly stacked cast, where every so often a new character turns up and it's an actor you know. Only they're muppets and the film I recognise them from is Muppets Christmas Carol 🤣

They don't sugar coat it, for being a 'kids' film. But then MCC would probably have been scary if I was younger too.
