I love them... besides the sequels

@LordShadowfire I don't get how anyone can. The trilogy's plot flows like a d&d game filled with 12 yrold boys with adhd

@caPnAhab I tell you what the problem is. It's not that George Lucas wasn't directly involved with the new movies. It's that they didn't have his ex-wife to tell them which ideas were stupid.

That was the key to George's success with Star Wars. His wife would flat out tell him when he had an awful idea. It was after the divorce that he lost interest in making new movies, and that's no coincidence.

@LordShadowfire I think you're right. George was surrounded by too many yes-men. I've seen in interviews he sold Star wars so he could focus on his life in his later years.

But this is what Disney's problems with Star wars was.
They didn't have any sort of outline for how they wanted their trilogy to be. The two directors just played a game of tug of war with each other. Lucas had given Disney his ideas but they tossed it out the window.

Its the story of 4 generations of the skywalker family. Takes place over 60ish years. Super vibrant characters come and go in their lives. And NOBODY is safe from death. Lots of tears over the years

I used to has the Star Wars stringed up to the ceiling, but the string broke and now I has a broken Millennial Fulcrum.
