@pdockal exactly... my parents were from Cuba and English and American sci fi was too luxurious? My exposure to sci fi and even Disney was somewhat limited. I didn't acquire a taste for it until much later. I guess our family was into religeon and basically learning to be English speaking Americans still in survival mode. Now I love Star Trek and enjoy Star Wars but I can tell I don't have a "fanatic" spirit about ... anything really. I do enjoy the creative process of making of a show/:play/production. I like that there is a temporary vision and a purpose for everyone participating.
