Just saw a possible mistake on Star Trek the next generation

Encounter at Farpoint, the Enterprise is trying to escape the Q. Tasha Yar exclaims the being chasing them is at warp 9.9 and Picard says, now hear this, all decks prepare for saucer sep.

He doesn't even finish the word, separation. Not sure if this is done on purpose or if he was supposed to say separation and they didn't do another take and kept that as the final shot?

@MasterLee I just don't get people who hate on certain members of the cast like they do. Stop hating. Not every character in a show needs to satisfy your delicate sensibilities.

@MasterLee I have modest expectations too. I would prefer that a futuristic character doesn't wear a banana clip on their face. But if those expectations are stifled, I try my best to enjoy what I'm given.

Pretty much everything, including the whole of Worf's character development crumbles before this gaping plot hole featured in the pilot episode. The whole canon is defunct.

@Natalie15 not only this but I don't know anyone who has pointed it out with Star wars. I forget which movie it was, 4, 5 or 6 but Vader is talking and after he finishes talking his arms are still moving, as if David Prowse is still talking lol.

It makes sense that this would happen as his voice was removed and dubbed over with James Earl Jones voice.
