Star Trek TOS & Movies.

What’s your fav episode? I have so many I love but City on the Edge of Forever is my #1. Regarding the movies, I haven’t seen all but I think IV (the one with the whales) is my fav.

Ship In A Bottle - TNG

Portrayed by Daniel Davis, Moriarty escapes a simulation and takes over the vessel.

@SethGreene531 I really did try to like TNG. I think I loved Kirk and crew too much. I did like Enterprise.
@4thdimensiondream
Yeah each iteration is an acquired taste, I agree.

Kirk set the bar. He really was a legend.

Used to watch Enterprise, that was a great show!
Had the pleasure of meeting Scott Bakula a few years later at a film festival.

@SethGreene531 I wish I met any of the enterprise series. My favorite meeting was john de lancie and leonard nimoy.

I met nichelle but she was selling nude pics of hereself alongside angelique pettyjohn.

Deforest kelly was legendary.
@MasterLee John de Lancie?!...the legendary and immortal Q.
That would've been awesome, I'd like to talk to him.

But Leonard Nimoy, Doctor Spock himself; wow. I bet he's a class act. What a privilege!

Deforest Kelly, "Bones", yes I imagine that was the highlight of the evening.
Right hand to Kirk, I imagine that quiet confidence and class shone through even in real life.

You had an unforgettable evening.

I'm sorry I've never met LeVar Burton. LaForge seemed like an all around grounded individual, someone you'd be good friends with.

Brent Spiner is another.
Data was remarkable. Endearing cast and auidence to what was nothing more than lights & clockwork. He made us feel for a machine.

@SethGreene531 i met tng except for burton, dorn, and spiner.

Yes it was one of the Spock vs Q debates in Vegas. I have an autographed cassette of it.

I hear Burton has a hard edge. Spiner may have gotten over his bad experience by now.
@MasterLee

Q vs. Spock, worthy opponents!

An edge, hmm. Interesting.

I'm unaware of Spiner's bad experience. A casting feud, or off-screen?
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SethGreene531 he never enjoyed the makeup routine. He always seems to have a negative view. I guess some of the banter between frakes and spiner are entertaining but when he talks about it he doesnt have good memories
@MasterLee I see.
Yeah the makeup issue is familiar. Visibly heavy on-screen.
He's a bit sarcastic/tongue-in-cheek off screen. Something we saw in Lore.
Frakes probably has a strong personality; I can see room for trouble there.

Always good to get the back story. It reveals or casts a series in a different light.
Thanks!

@SethGreene531 sure. Some people I would have loved to meet were rugg and westmore. Would love to hear where they got their ideas.
@MasterLee Darn, the genius behind the scenes. Special effect and costume/protesis designers are captivating.

Adam Savage, Carry, and the late Grant from Mythbusters did much the same for Lucasfilm's Star Wars. Jaime as well, but unsure what productions he worked.
MasterLee · 56-60, M
@SethGreene531 yes they did a few
