Cry time TV, damn it's been a while!

Just finished watching a movie on Netflix and chunked like a teenager with a broken heart...ahhh I wanna be in love again and have all the feels.😍🥰🤩

What movie gives you the feels (ummm cough, cough... let's keep it tidy)??

A walk to remember. I've had to remember this shit recently because I'm having something of a disagreement with the anime community over certain romance animes they love to trash.

KGNE went from like super popular to openly mocked the way it is now like "THIS SHOW HAS LOGIC PROBLEMS!"

except it's a romance and specifically left ambigous in places deliberately so that you can fill in the gaps and figure out what it means to you.

(BTW KGNE = Kimi Ga Nozumu Eien, AKA Rumbling Hearts AKA The eternity you desire.)

the alleged logic problems are ones that people that actually have experience at dating would probably be able to explain very easily.

like after Hayase Sleeps with Shinji they seem confused as to why he assaults Tatuyuki after the fact but it's like I wonder if these weebs have ever really like truly been totally enthralled and in love because if they had they'd realize the real deal has a strong tendency to be selfless and prioritize the emotions of the other party over their own.

Like all of this is supposed to be super hard to understand except this show was not one you were supposed to go in to that way, you're supposed to just FEEL it, it's an experience.

Shinji actually loves Hayase and so her being on the rebound is not actually what he wanted. plus the incident basically sabotages his own attempts to move on.

So basically a walk to remember is me coming to realize one of the reasons for my dissent is that I didn't actually necessarily want a romantic comedy.

Dramas were welcome too.
