I do not live there.
But years ago, on another site, a woman from the Philippines asked me, and others, if we would travel there from the U.S. to do housecleaning for her.
I guess that would be one way you could have fun without spending money on fuel!

@DrWatson I'm sorry to hear that. But I hope you don't make that person your only reference on the kind of people Filipinos are.
Like in any place, some kid about laziness. Some may even mean it.
But for the most part, I would describe Filipinos as resilient and hardworking. Unfortunately, that doesn't always mean well for us because we tend to tolerate more even if when we are well aware we deserve better. I'm talking about government now.
