Work Christmas party next week...

So, this nice colleague of mine who then recently joined went to the office christmas party. He was sitting next to the manager. My colleague was fully drunk and out of his senses. Apparently, he told the manager that he was more qualified and experienced then him and that if he were to be in the manager's position, he would lead the organisation much better and efficiently. In about a month, he was let go. It sounded awful, 'cos he was a nice friendly guy.
