Netflix sure knows how to do documentaries!!! 😭🍿

The other day we watched Unknown Number, and tonight we watched Take Care of Maya and when I tell y’all… I CRIED. Like actual sobbing. My heart absolutely breaks for the Kowalski family. 💔

Rest in peace Beata.

Next on the list: The Perfect Neighbor… and honestly I’m already preparing to cry again. 😭

Netflix makes some excellent documentaries, the three you mentioned included.

Check out: Our Father, The Man with 1000 Kids, Don’t Pick Up the Phone, Sweet Bobby, American Nightmare, Tell Them You Love Me. They’re pretty wild.

I generally find documentaries made by directors Skye Borgman and Rory Kennedy to be particularly good.

@OlderSometimesWiser thank you for the suggestions! I’ll check them out!

You gotta find the documentary of the curious case of Natalie Grace.

@Justcurious86 just looked it up. It’s on Hulu. I think I heard about this!! Sad story. If I’m thinking of the same story.

@CharityRae yeah it’s pretty wild and I’m sure it is. It’s really good

Unknown Number was pretty disturbing.....that lady is batshit crazy.
CharityRae · 36-40, F
@SpectralMourning I believe she should’ve gotten more time than what she did… & I believe she should’ve also gotten some sort of child sexual abuse charge, considering the very inappropriate and nasty stuff she was sending MINORS…

@CharityRae I completely agree. I didn't like how the doc almost tried to sympathize with her at the end. What she did was absolutely abuse.
