Queen of the South: Have you seen this series?

A few days ago, I finally finished this series. I enjoyed every bit of it. This series showcases how a woman who is seen as helpless and doomed rises to the top and builds a cartel through determination, courage, principles, and by being fearless. In this journey a man (a sicario) who is sent after her to kill her becomes her most trusted ally, more like a shadow, and is with her to the end. The story follows her struggle and rise to success while destroying the conniving and merciless enemies that come in the way. Despite being the boss of the cartel, she really cares for all and ends up cutting a deal profitable for all. Her way of doing business helps her grow her business, but the ones who despise her way of work are always against her. Yet, she always finds a way out. Throughout her journey to success, she forms alliances with folks who are loyal to her forever, except for one who turns against her when the very empire she built begins to crumble layer by layer. Now, the last two seasons are full of unexpected twists, and the end is mind-boggling (in a good way). I request you to watch this show if you haven't if you like crime dramas.

Now, some of you may not have seen this show, but you might have seen the Spanish (original) version of the show, i.e., La Reina del Sur, which aired on Telemundo. Either way, the story is about the same protagonist, Teresa Mendoza. Both shows are based on the novel La Reina del Sur by Arturo Pérez-Reverte Gutiérrez.

I have written a summarised version of the show because I want others to watch the show if they like watching TV shows. Trust me, it's worth it! I hope you enjoy it.

The show is available on Netflix.😇

I wanted to write about Trump's good-for-nothing bill, but I chose not to upset Americans (especially MAGA supporters) on July 04. Happy 4th of July, Americans! 🇺🇸

I am not an American, but I respect every country's special day. I am sure you have that in my posts. 🙏
