WTF - let's create demand destruction while we have a supply chain crisis after 7 years of extreme QE Oil is already down 20% and everyone knows these shortages will become gluts - which prices will drop...I think these people are incompetent and clueless...what do you think?
Everyone is heading for a brutal awakening this fall and winter. They've F'd us real good

@SlippingAway Yup - It's so screwed up that I actually agree with Elizabeth Warren on this...that's like...crazy talk...
WILLFULLY incompetent and clueless

@stratosranger I have no idea what he's thinking - from "Transient" inflation to this - makes no sense...
It’s a clueless shell game. Sad part is there’s nothing under all the shells and no matter what your political affiliation, we all lose. @fun4us2b
I think , for the poor, nothing will change. Its only those used to paying for convenience that will feel it.

The poor are already 'making do '.🤷‍♀️

@OogieBoogie That's a very good point. If anything, inflation hit's the poor the hardest. Rising interest makes sure they stay poor though and less money will be available for charity,
@fun4us2b inflation is making even the middle class poor now.
And the poor are becoming many!

I live in a place which was reasonably lucky - out of the way so house prices and rent was reasonable.
Now as the world is more connected , our house prices doubled in the last year ....as did rents .
Now we have homeless people mass sleeping in our minor towns as well - a never before seen occurance !

Supermarket prices are rising due to both inflation and theft going up.

Its insane . The school that i work at is now providing free breakfasts and lunches to those that cant afford them . And this is Australia: first world countrt - The 'Lucky' Country .

A person now has to earn over $200 000, (minimum), a year to be able to hope to have both a family AND a home .
And the average income is something like 70 or 80 grand a year for a full time job.

So how are single parents and part timers coping ?

Its nutz.
People are being tipped over tje edge beyond having basic needs.😔

@OogieBoogie Hopefully this downturn will turn up and better days will come...
