Working my way through all James Bond movies.

Live and let die at the moment. I’m thinking I’ll need a spreadsheet to keep track of everything and develop a rating system

Bond purist say only the Sean Connery films are good...I used to us a pharmacy where this was true.
I used to crack them up imitating the You expect me to talk line

I enjoy them. Some films are better than others, but the song for Live and Let Die is one of the best.

@BiasForAction Yes, I love Nobody Does It Better - great song. I love Carly Simon’s voice. The song has special meaning for me. I haven’t seen The Spy Who Loved Me in a long time.
@ChampagneOnIce she sings a nice version in a lower range on the queen mary — YouTube

@BiasForAction I’ll have to check that out. I’ve sang the song myself. It’s such a good song.

I thought the Daniel Craig ones were excellent but Goldfinger defined the genre. Amazing.

First time Rodger Moore playing Bond.
Personally Casino Royale with Daniel Craig is my Favourite
@jackjones68 it ranks high in my list too

@BiasForAction It was a new era. Taken from the Borne films. More darker and realistic.
@jackjones68 true but I particularly liked the stairwell fight scene — genius choreography

I've only seen a couple of them. Are they worth watching? There's a ton, right?
@sarabee1995 it’s just a distraction and there’s some nostalgia there. Casino royale and live and let die are the best I think
I liked them more as a kid, and I have to admit, now that we're over 6 decades into the franchise, it's beginning to seem a little absurd to keep it going.
@ThirstenHowl I actually really love the formulaic structure

In my view Timothy dalton was the worst. Only since he got older has he not looked positively "gay". (Not that there is anything wrong with that)
@whowasthatmaskedman I’m
Leaning toward your view that dalton eas the worst. Although to be fair he didn’t have very good scripts

@BiasForAction Equally true. Nor did Roger Moore. For my money Pierce Brosnan seemed to have more of a presence on screen than either of them..😷
@NativePortlander1970 and Timothy ?
@BiasForAction I should add that Dalton's Errol Flynnish imitation in Flash Gordon is hilarious while stoned.
