Omg, omg, omg! New Hunger Games book coming in March 2025!

The first 4 were already such good commentary on current events and it sounds like the 5th one is going to be even better.

“With ‘Sunrise on the Reaping,’ I was inspired by David Hume’s idea of implicit submission and, in his words, ‘the easiness with which the many are governed by the few,’” Collins said in a statement. “The story also lent itself to a deeper dive into the use of propaganda and the power of those who control the narrative. The question ‘Real or not real?’ seems more pressing to me every day.”

Have you read it yet????
@BabyLonia I'm in the process. I think I'm 9 or 10 chapters in, about 25-30% from the top of my head.
@BabyLonia but so far it exceeds expectations. Haymitch is a great narrator to interpret propaganda, pointing out more depth than I initially picked up. And the book fills in so many gaps in the other books, and the parallels with those! My mind is blown almost every page, and with every video I see about the part I already finished.

@NerdyPotato i finished it yesterday and loved it so much
@BabyLonia it's great so far indeed. Heartbreaking, but a great insight in real life society.

@NerdyPotato it really is when you look at propaganda and political spin
