I Love Horror Movies

I use to like watching horror movies, until i watched one particular one(can't exactly remember) and thought to myself,what really can i gain from horror movies? And i really don't think there's much to gain, except it has a good ending. I would like to ask @vikiii, why really do you like to watch horror movies? Because, i'm trying to be realistic with the real reason why some girls may like horror movies. Is it because: 1. You just like watching them? 2.Or is it because, it is a way of connecting with a guy you may like? since i presume that, you would want to go see a horror movie with a guy. Lol.(which i'm kind of thinking is really true).3. Is it because you think if you watch it, you may not be scared of things that scare you in real life?. Please answer with honesty :)

Just saw it. LOVED it. Genuinely scary with great acting and story.

As far as favorites: A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984), John Carpenter's The Thing, Phantasm, Hellraiser, The Haunting (b&w), Evil Dead, Poltergeist (1984), and Halloween

seriously? i never knew that .. that just makes the movie 100% more scary! i.can't imagine that .. luckily we don't have sharks over here .. well not many or i would definitely not be getting into the water! haha. x

Jaws is also a classic.When that came out not many wanted too go swimming in the ocean

Then the first Alien movie will be on your list too see

good question RoyX54, it's definitely not because of a guy, as i usually watch horrors on my own or with friends (usually girls) i also don't think it's because of things that scare me, but it could be .. i've never really thought about it .. i guess i just like watching them, the reason why, i honestly don't no. :)

i was gutted the other night, jaws was on and i didn't realise! brilliant movie, one of my favourites, can watch that over and over again :) you ever seen clown? that movie is one of the only movies i have actually been proper scared over! never ever will i be watching that again! haha.

Seeing it Friday and I can't wait!! 🙂

When did it come out? I love horror movies but they usually suck or have too much nudity in them :P
