Oh, I remember watching those movies. I remembered the books as being another creation of R.L.Stine, the guy who created Goosebumps. I think I read at least one of them but I didn't know that, unlike Goosebumps, Fear Street had an ongoing plot, rather than just standalone stories.
I've seen the movies and it had it's flaws but overall I thought it was a good trilogy.
