Amityville II: The Possession

Any thoughts on this one?

I felt it was much better than the original. I know that is the epitome of not saying much!

But I felt the pacing, story and the special effects were superior to the first movie. Granted, there is no Margot Kidder working out!

It's not bad. Plus Diane Franklin was easy on the eyes!

@uncalled4 True dat! She complained in the movie that her chest was flat...now that is what I call acting!

@Wol62 Agreed, she was super cute!

Went by the Amityville Horror house not too long ago. Very disappointed they changed those sinister eye-shaped windows on top 🙁

@SW-User Yes, I heard they did that, is it an actual home or just a film set?

@Wol62 No it's a beachside major colonial house with a pool. A serious slice of property (min $2 million crib)

@SW-User Wow, you know, I know it's a movie, but no way would I leave there! Even if I could afford it, which I can't. I mean in 1982, there was a problem with the sewage line behind a cupboard in a main bedroom...all those flies...ugh.

@Wol62 the mom's family bought it for them in the 60's. Her old man was connected (as was old man DeFeo)

It looked like a gigantic Italian stereotype. Madonna statues on all sides, TV Guidish photos of every family member in frames all the was up the stairs, boat sized luxury cars, etc
