Grimcutty, a movie about terrible over bearing parents and shift blaming.

I kind of like this movie. It's a good social critique of dysfunctional family dynamics. From the very start, the dysfunctionality is clearly there in many different ways. The mom at the beginning who had a lock on her kids door, the parents who treat a daughter like she's a criminal for quitting the swim team, the news which blames social media but ignores the dysfunctional dynamics at the heart of American society. They are clearly engrossed in themselves as a sort of communal narcissism as the parents slowly but surely get worse and worse as something takes them over.
