To those of you who enjoy horror films

What is it about them that you enjoy? Do you actually find them scary?

I've watched plenty but I just don't seem to be able to get into them enough to find them scary or creepy.

Mainly l jump at jumpy things if anything. I don’t know exactly why I watch them when I do watch them. It leaves me pondering about demons and murders. Not in a scared way.
