Night School (1981)
Ahhhhhh this is a keeper, a Warner Bros. Archive release, these Archive stuff is typically bare bones, just a trailer, so of its time, urban slasher, my favorite i think, i love location shooting so much, in Don't Answer the Phone they didn't even get permits, so it has a super real feel .... treasures, urban and not so much on typical horror stuff, tastes leaning towards thrillas, like Fatal Attraction kind of things but with amped up graphic violence. This is an attempt to put into words what kind of stuff i'm after. Let's see if a point by point thing can do it
● The time setting of the early 80's
● Politically incorrect content
● Cringe moments
● Camp qualities
● Characters you love to hate
● The kind of scenes that are classic, cliches where the typical classical audience yells at the screen
That's what i like so much, and sometime before the end of 2022 i'll be able to say why. My precious time with the good tv is alas coming fast to a close at 3pm, Night School when i awaken, at night .....:)
