I Love Horror Movies

Ok, I am finally rounding out my top ten list of horror movies, in no particular order- I saw it months ago but I keep coming back to it, so I am going with Hereditary. It was soooo disturbing! The family tension and ickiness build to truly horrific happenings. It's a combination of supernatural weirdness and disturbing personal relationships, and the scene at the end (spoiler alert!) when the teenage boy finds his mom in the attic and she is, gulp, sawing her own head off - straight out of nightmares. The whole demon summoning is overshadowed by the horror of what the people do beforehand, but really, I think that's the point. The evil is there well before the arrival of the actual evil entity. Great flick!
