I didn't go to high school. I got my G.E.D. when I was 18 years old, though. By that time, I had already been working for 4 years. It was a pretty easy transition from school to work . Having to pay bills and eat were great motivators. I figured out what to do by who would hire a 14-year-old. Mostly waitressing. 🙂
