Should I embrace the disconnect and disenchantment I feel for this place

And observe from the shadows like a ghost in space
Or should my ennui be a bridge to my next adventure
Leaving behind fond memories that will forever remain here

We all feel that disconnect in varying degrees over time. That can make us leave for a while or leave permanently.

The disconnect happens when what we are looking for is not what we get —- whether it’s a place, a person, a community like SW, or a relationship.
