I Love Game Of Thrones

I was actually late to the party on this one. Everyone always talked about it when I was in college and high school, but I was like that's lame. Then I watched the last season first and totally got hooked (although I know that's the worst season ironically lol).

I went back and binge-watched the show all last summer. I even thought about reading the books but haven't really picked them up yet. Still major fan of GoT. Favorite character is Arya!

I've only read the first two novels too. I refuse to watch the adaptation until after finishing each book. What did you make of the series' that come after info from the novels runs out?
@PhilDeep I mean, I didn't know much about it, and I STARTED watching at that part. I try to appreciate movie/tv adaptations of books as being two separate things. I thought it was good, but yeah I agree with other people upon rewatching. Sort of rushed. But still some of the best things I've ever seen.

@ExperienceDropOut Oh, you started some way through then went back to the start? I see. Yes, I agree, they're two different forms. I guess a lot of fans seemed disgruntled because they consider Martin to be a far better writer/story-teller than the screen-writers. I personally think they did a pretty good job of adapting the first two books.
@PhilDeep I thought it was amazing haha. And yeah, I think it's apples and oranges, so it's impossible to say who is the "better writer" through totally different mediums

@ExperienceDropOut When things start resuming normality, including regarding income streams, I guess I'll proceed to the third GoT novel then :) Thanks for sharing your views!
