Wow.
Where to start?
I never saw this when it was first released. I would've been 11.

I could've seen it. But at the time, I didn't care to. It was a movie about Vietnam and I just wanted to watch movies like Batman and Back to the Future II.
I recently started watching them, such as Platoon and Apocalypse Now.
The Deer Hunter, and now CoW... both were difficult watches, but were really good. I received multiple gut punches, which required me to pause and take emotional breaks.
I wish I hadn't waited till I turned 48 to watch them. Next will be Empire of the Sun and possibly going even further back, before I was even born.
