I Love Films That Make Me Think About Life

Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind, Vanilla Sky, The Rapture (Mimi Rogers), Being John Malkovich, Phone Booth, Dances With Wolves, Shawshank Redemption, Love Story, Meet Joe Black, and to some extent, Dr. Strangelove Or How I Learned To Love The Bomb.

Loved The Rapture.

Have you seen the movie Contact with Jodie Foster?
Becket · 56-60, M
Wow, someone other than me saw The Rapture? :) Contact was quite good, but Carl Sagan's poorly disguised preaching always annoyed me and the filmmakers kept too much of that from the book for my tastes. I still watch it on occasion though because the good parts are really good, and Foster was great.

Yes yes! I saw The Rapture more than once because I thought it was so good. I don't think I have ever known anyone else who saw it either!

The ending of The Rapture has to be one of the very most powerful things I have ever seen on film. Just magnificent. What a shame it didn't get more play.

Sorry, I'll never part with my rare copy, but you're welcome to watch it with me anytime :)
