What do your film faves say about you?
As i discover some of the films that matter to my SW friends, i see them as the ideal representations of wonderful people, people with a basic good taste, and then i go what do my film faves tell people about me when i rave about them and they put in their precious time in seeing them.
I feel that the films i've been vocal about have a more distinct identity, not reflecting who i am as a person, they are for me more rigidly ideal, as being what i look up to, and not have as any of my own qualities. This is because if a film was to represent who i am, it would be the dullest of the dull, there'd be no audience for such a film, therefore there aren't any, except maybe some strange videos found in the weird side of Youtube.
Do your film faves reflect who you are, or are you like me and those films are separate from you identity?
