the odyssey film, why wasnt it acurate,

i watched the odyseey at the cinema the other day and it was a good film, but confusing and not accurate, why dont they make it accurate, the mythis exciting, no need for boring conversations that go no hwere or , changing parts of the story

It's mythology, it doesn't need to be accurate.
In traditional Norse mythology, Odin and Loki are brothers. In the Marvel comics and movies, Loki and Thor are brothers, Odin is their father. But that's ok, that's Marvel's writers putting their own spin on Norse mythology.

Because, as so often happens, current filmmakers THINK they are more creative than the original creators they are stealing from. It's often simply a question of ego.
