do you still watch old films even if they are 'dated'

i think if a film is dated it gives the film a vintage quality and more appealing, especially to me anyway. i don't like anything new and modern being put out now, i prefer old films right back to the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s..those are my era's for films/entertainment.

Some movies benefit from their age.

The spaghetti western trilogy from Ennio Morricone hold up really well. They use exaggerated techniques that you don’t often see in movies today, but still effective cinema.
