I Want to Be a Filmmaker

Does anyone know of any Film Locations for No Budget, Barter/Trade, Student or Sponsored Projects? Permits are too costly & besides, this is non-profit.

Where are you trying to film this
@bhatjc I'm near LA currently. I may move to LA, Central Valley, Inland Empire or Orange County too. Theres this Hollywood Guerrilla Group that film without permits but they tell me of few places. I understand to keep the locations private though.

@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer Understandable. LA is a jungle. And the unions are all around. Go to the central valley. The OC is full of to many snobs.
@bhatjc But the heat D: I have very light skin. I love the 60-80 weather. I currently have it :D
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer I know the heat sucks up in the central valley. and some times The LA basin is a boiler. If you are where you wanted to be right now that is good. But if you where to move to the OC where would you go
@bhatjc We're actually homeless, been for years & the home search has been a bitch. I have learned of many ways to live without money but apparently I gotta think of maybe coughing up $30+ a month for property tax or get a roommate. All the affordable regular homes are out there in the desert D: So Taft, Ridgecrest, California City, Barstow, Boron, Trona, Lucrene Valley, Delano, Lake Isbaella, Boron etc. Know of any of those? I created a film group for Antelope & Santa Clarita Valley but only 8 members so far :/

@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer Yeah all out in the east counties. Or riverside area. I know the southern california area. have lives for years
@bhatjc Are you still there? Every other part/county we can only afford mobile homes. Senior parks are considered (I do caregive) however if we don't move to it to a land before my parents die then I'm homeless again :/
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer Hard to find cheap mobile home parks. And Senior living places are not cheap ether
@bhatjc They can be very affordable but the income requirement limits us most likely to $625. Maybe we can do up to $900 if its 2x the income.

@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer and the housing prise is still going up. waiting to see who are next governor of california is
@bhatjc Theres a governor? :o I get all my political (comedy) news from Talk Shows. Yeah, the interest rates. It is becoming more of a buyer's market :D I really just wanna live in a shed though.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer Don't they have small sheds for the homeless in LA.
@bhatjc A musician gave tiny homes to the homeless but then the city confiscated them 😠😡😤😾 But o now, they accept them as backhouses. Problem is homeowners proclaim "not in my backyard". They even complain about giving veterans transitional housing last time I checked. So I feel like at this point, knowledge & helping each other is key to breakaway from homelessness but (LA) hypocrisy shows many are quite selfish and greedy.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer That is true of all of LA. They want to be nice. but when it's in their own back yard. 'HELL NO"
@bhatjc Yeah & the Thomas Fire happened nearby. They all attacked us & pointed out any inconsistency. Apparently not even a disaster can bring people together.
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer Yeah that almost got to the 126
@bhatjc Sounds like you know Ventura or Santa Barbara county? :o
bhatjc · 46-50, M
@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer Used to go up to sb when i was a kid. Solvang area, santa ynez valley area camping
@bhatjc Ah, I miss SB :/ Taking the bus is the only way there (well maybe bike? D:) & its costly. Parents like never take me. They only went for the zoo when I was like 5 & a while back for disability court.

@DarkCrazyArtistGeekGamer You can always take the train
