I trully agree that gender and sometimes family violence against women is one of the more serious social and still happening problems to be stopped.
Nothing to laugh or minimize about.

Being myself active since always (since young till now) on confronting that one and other injustices.......
...and perhaps of some personal bias...

I would take also with some ... reflection both sides of the behaviours that the quote propose as the paradigmatic opposites of all of it.
