I like movies. All types. Spy movies are my fave.

I have questions though. Main one,

Do governments really have a list of all spies in one location? If so, why is it so easy to steal? Why don’t they write it down on paper? And put in a locked, heavily guarded room, on a heavily guarded base, with a shoot first zone around it, like at Fort Knox or Area 51? Then have a person on watch with a phone? An Ambassador calls, “Hey, does Ethan Hunt work for us?” “Yessir.” “Short guy, brown hair, good looking guy?” “Yessir, he’s listed at five feet eight, brown hair, and his picture is a good picture, looks good, no homo.” “Anything else?” “He wears disguises a lot, good ones. He also gets falsely accused of treason a lot, but each time literally saves the world.” “Cool, thanks.” “Have a good evening Mr . Ambassador.” “You too.”

I also like space and war movies.

Why do evil empires and countries put a vent for the reactor in a plain view? And keep the plans on file where someone can get to them? Where like two aircraft with one bomb each can try to put one “down the pipe”?

I remember being a young kid and seeing the Bond movies and being mesmerized. Now watch them and they are comical. Now watch any of Clint’s early westerns and although very unreal they are still amazing and haven’t lost a thing. I always laugh at the spy movies when the bad guys catch the hero who has just completely ruined all their plans and instead of killing him right away they tie him up and have conversations. One of the best examples of that is “Taken”.
