I've heard different reports about Disney losing money and idk if it's worth keeping.

Tough time for content providers in this economic climate.
If the margins are tight the current strike isn't going to help.
Disney spent the last two or three years buying up just about anything worth watching for what must have been quite a substantial sum total
Questions were asked as to why they were buying content to remake. Guess that was their business model at the time.
@Picklebobble2 Buying up content isn't anything new for them. Disney did that for decades with Fox until they eventually just bought the company as a whole.

My biggest problem with Disney is they have become to active in all the fringe stuff and so far away feom families. I dont care what someone sexual preferences are but at a theam park it should be welcoming to all. Priced within a budget a family can afford.

@dale74 Disney are not a theme park. But now that you mention it, their parks ARE welcoming to all.

@SW-User except middle class and poor and they are theam parks.

@dale74 theme parks is just one of Disney’s enterprises
Its disney itll bounce back this strike is messing with Mandalorian and Andor for example
@TryingtoLava hope so. If not, I'm sure their shows will wind up on Hulu or something

I know you're hoping it's too "woke" to survive. The trouble is, most of the world is woke.

Dream on.

@GohantheThird OK Sorry. But just because it's lost a number of subscribers (and they were mostly in Asia, where theit subsidiary lost the cricket rights), you don't want to keep it because...?
@SW-User If it fails and shuts down, I will wind up blowing money on their content when it might not even last. I'm confident another provider will pick it up, but I hate wasting money.

@GohantheThird It has lost a few subscribers. Disney+ is about as likely to shut down as Amazon. I would be a LOT more worried about Netflix...
