Disney+ records it’s 2nd consecutive quarterly loss of streaming subscribers

Thanks Desantis.
This past quarter Disney+ dropped another 4 million subscribers in part thanks to a Florida turf war with Ron Desantis.

On Wednesday, CEO Bob Iger and Co. beat Wall Street estimates for Disney’s quarterly earnings and revenue due to an impressive January-March showing at the company’s theme parks. That win comes during a fiscal Q2, which concluded April 1, plagued by company-wide layoffs, a looming (and now active) writers strike and a turf war with Florida Gov. Ron Desantis

Clearly Death Desantis thinks that being vengeful and vindictive towards a business is far better for Floridas overall economy and employment numbers than promoting business in his home state.

To be honest, much as I hate DeSantis, it's not his fault this time. It's because Disney's Asian Hotstar channel has lost the rights to broadcast IPL cricket in India. The vast majority of those subscribers were Asian.
