I watched Pocahontas from Disney again after years

I love Disney films and most of them are available on Amazon prime and Disney plus. I know it’s a fictional account of what happened but the love story between Pocahontas and John smith is so beautiful. The lessons and moral themes the movie imparts are important. For instance people are not savages and subhuman because they are different from you which is how the English settlers viewed the natives in the beginning. Love conquers all and never dies even when the lovers must go separate ways. Hatred and unnecessary war are not the answers and fear breeds mistrust and hatred.it showed us that humans, animals, and nature are all interconnected and are interdependent. I could go on. I adore Disney films because they truly appeal to all ages and it is reminiscent of my younger years when I first watched these films. Some of the themes can be relatable to more mature viewers hence why they are family films. And I am young at heart. Part of me wishes I could do my life over and be a child again but this time have it go right to the way I wished it for it to go.
