Upside Down Girl from Disney's Recess analysis! 💙🙃💙🙃💙🙃

Yesterday I made my biggest video ever doing an analysis on my favourite cartoon character Upside Down Girl from the Disney cartoon Recess! 🙃💙🙃💙🙃💙 But I was too excited and did not check spelling errors and I used an AI text to speech voice so I decided to post my Upside Down Girl analysis here in written form! 😁😁😁

UPSIDE DOWN GIRL FROM DISNEY'S RECESS ANALYSIS! 💙🙃💙🙃💙🙃 This post is a complete analysis on my favourite cartoon character ever Upside Down Girl from the Disney cartoon Recess! I adore this character with all my heart! Let's begin! First a little look at the cartoon Upside Down Girl appears in which was made by Disney and is called Recess!

Recess was a Disney cartoon aired between 1997-2001 and had four movies one of them shown on the big screen in 2001 called "Recess - School's Out" and the other three movies being straight to home video and was " Recess - Christmas on Miracle Third Street" released in 2001, "Recess - All Growned Down" released in 2003 and "Recess - Taking the Fifth Grade" released in 2003! Recess had 65 episodes split into 127 segments! Recess is about a school called Third Street Elementary School and the adventures of children in the school yard at Recess! The main characters are T.J who is the main character and loves Recess and will stand up for the rights of his friends despite playing pranks on the teachers and T.J has a catchphrase called "whomps" which is a substitute for swearing and he always wears a red baseball cap backwards on his head! We also have Vince a character who is quite sporty and fit! Then we have Ashley Spinelli who is a total tomboy and loves her wrestling! Then we have Gretchen the most intelligent and academic ally gifted child of the group! She loves science and has a high IQ and she also wears glasses! Then we have Mikey a overweight child with a big heart who loves to sing, write poetry and do ballet! These five characters T.J, Vince, Ashley, Gretchen and Mikey are the main characters of Recess and have a strong friendship in the school yard of Miracle Third Street! The show Recess follows the adventures of these five children at playtime or recess in their school! Another character Gus introduced in the second episode of Recess is from a military family and tends to struggle to understand the meaning of playtime at the playground being from a military family! The teachers are Miss Finster an elderly strict teacher to keep the kids in line! We also have the headmaster Principal Peter Prickly who despite being strict does totally understand the importance of Recess and we have Miss Alordayne Grotke the forth grade teacher who is kind and has a desire to help the children! Side characters of Recess include Randall a teachers pet who tells on the five main characters when they are playing pranks! Erwin Lawson the bully! King Robert (Bob) the self named King of the playground and the Ashley's a group of four girly popular girls! Other character Swinger Girl who loves to swing on the swings and dresses like a world war two fighter pilot but my favourite character of all is Upside Down Girl!

To say Upside Down Girl is my favourite character is an understatement! I absolutely adore her! However my love for this character may sound strange to a Recess fan because she is a very minor side character given about ten seconds screentime per ten minute Recess segments! On one Recess episode or segment The Great Jungle Gym Standoff we find out Upside Down Girl's real name is Laura Jameson but I will call her Upside Down Girl! Upside Down Girl is voiced by Francesca Marie Smith! So why do I absolutely love Upside Down Girl so much? Because just like her I also LOVE hanging upside down! I love hanging upside down with all my heart! I truly love hanging upside down by my knees from the monkey bars just like her and I also have mild autism! Here is some facts about Upside Down Girl! Upside Down Girl is ALWAYS hanging upside down! Upside Down Girl has become immune to nausea from hanging upside down so often! Upside Down Girl keeps all her money inside of her socks so her money does not drop when she is hanging upside down! Upside Down Girl's pigtails stick up in the air when she is right side up! Upside Down Girl is voiced by the same voice actress that voiced Heiga in Hey Arnold! Upside Down Girl is VERY sarcastic and can be a little mean and grumpy! She is only interested in hanging upside down and takes her precious hanging upside down time seriously! In 98th Street School there is an African American counterpart to Upside Down Girl! Upside Down Girl is SO COOL! Why? Because she LOVES and enjoys HANGING UPSIDE DOWN! Now I will talk about something that makes me VERY sad! Upside Diwn Girl is the only Recess side character not to have a single episode of Recess focusing solely on her! This REALLY upsets me because I also LOVE hanging upside down! We will now try to answer two questions! Does Upside Down Girl have autism and would Upside Down Girl like gymnastics!

Does Upside Down Girl have autism? This question means a lot to me because I have autism! Am common autistic trait especially with those with mild autism is special interests! An autistic special Interest is a love of a certain hobby or book or TV show or activity or video game or topic that leads to obsession! Not in a bad way as in my opinion special interests in autism are not hurting anyone except in intolerance and when an autistic person has a special interest they give their whole being to that particular interest! For example if an autistic person's special interest was trains they would study and learn about trains with all their being! If a special interest was a certain cartoon that autistic individual would rewatch that cartoon over and over and not get bored! Upside Down Girl's love for hanging upside down seems like an autism special interest to me! Upside Down Girl is clearly obsessed with hanging upside down! Now another autism trait is sensory processing disorder where you are either undersensative or oversensitive to vestibular input! The vestibular sense is hiw you feel in motion and let's you know if you are standing up, sitting down, lying down, upside down, spinning, rocking and a autistic person who is over sensative to vestibular input may feel easily sick when spinning or get extremely scared when picked up or is high off the ground so obviously Upside Diwn Girl is clearly not over sensative to vestibular input in that regard! We don't know if she is over sensative to vestibular input in other ways like noises or certain colours but she is clearly undersensative in terms of bring a daredevil! An autistic individual who is undersensative to vestibular input may love swinging or rough play or gymnastics or being picked up so clearly Upside Dpwn Girl is undersensative to vestibular imput so yes I personally think Upside Down Girl has mild autism! Hanging upside down for me feels REALLY good! I guess I enjoy hanging upside down because I can feel my whole body more when hanging upside down and the blood rushing to my head makes my face nice and warm especially around my nose and cheeks! Hanging upside down gives my tummy butterflies almost like a mild ticklish feeling in my stomach! Hanging upside down gives me an adrenaline rush and you get to see the whole world upside down which is pure magic! Hanging upside down feels REALLY good and is slightly scary but SO fun! Now we will answer if Upside Down Girl would like gymnastics!

In gymnastics a lot of the moves require turning your body upside down! Handstands, headstands, cartwheels, aerials, rolls, bridges,, flips, somersalts, pullovers, backhipcircles, flyaways and giants require the gymnast to go upside down! A handstand involves standing on your hands! You can walk on your hands too! A headstand involves standing on your head! A cartwheel involves a sideways flip on your hands! An aerial is a no handed cartwheel in the air! Flips or somersalts involve jumping in the air and flipping so obviously your upside down halfway though a flip! Giants on the bars involves spining around the bar in a handstand shape, pullovers require spinning around the bar on your tummy and backhipcircles require spinning around the bar backwards on your tummy and flyaways is a backflip off the bar! These moves require upside down movement that can feel like flying, give an adrenaline rush and often feel like a rler coaster drop or butterflies in your tummy as you flip! Handstands can be cast handstands on the bar, partner handstands either someone holding your legs for support, handstands against the wall, handstand walks or press handstands! A roll is rolling on the floor and a bridge is bending backwards! These moves still require upside down movement! Now Upside Down Girl LOVES hanging upside down by her knees from bars and during the many episodes of Recess Upside Down Girl is seen hanging upside down from various bars of different heights and she is seen hanging upside down by her knees from tree branches too! Now from my experience a child that does gymnastics is much more likely to hang upside down by their knees from the monkey bars at the playground compared to children who don't do gymnastics! This is because hanging upside down may feel to scary for children not used to it but gymnasts go upside down so often that they are more likely to enjoy hanging by their knees from the bars at the playground! Gymnasts probably have a higher tolerance for blood rushing to their heads and enjoy hanging upside down more as a result! Hanging upside down by your knees from the monkey bars or gymnastics bars is a common playground activity and while it may make the backs of your knees slightly red and sore, hanging upside down from the bars is super fun for children who do gymnastics! When a child hangs by their knees upside down from a bar if the bar is high enough off the ground that the child cannot reach the floor beneath them then that child is not grounded meaning hanging upside down can totally feel like your flying or floating in mid-air and your tummy gets a slight ticklish feeling of butterflies in your stomach and the blood rushing to your head warms up your nose and cheeks and seeing everything upside down is hilarious when your a child! On monkey bars hanging upside down can feel safer than a single bar because you can hook your feet behind a second bar on the monkey bars! I LOVE hanging upside down with all my heart and as a result I LOVE gymnastics so I think Upside Down Girl would LOVE gymnastics!

Now one thing about gymnastics I have not mentioned yet is that gymnastics is usually done in bare feet! Most gymnasts do gymnastics without any footwear so their feet will be bare! Reasons is you can slip in socks, bare feet allows better control of your body and gymnasts have to point their toes during the moves so by having naked feet people can see gymnasts pointing their bare toes during gymnastics moves like handstands! Now Upside Down Girl wears shoes and socks and is not barefoot! And if she was into gymnastics it is much more likely she would be seen barefoot a little! I mean sure children who do gymnastics won't necessarily take off their shoes and socks in the school yard before hanging upside down on the monkey bars but from my experience because gymnastics is done in nude feet a child who does gymnastics is much more likely to be barefoot more often compared to children who don't do gymnastics! As an autistic person who LOVES gymnastics I am a proud barefoot girl and while this may sound like a foot fetish, it is far more complicated than that! My reason for loving feet is not sexually related but rather all to do with my love for gymnastics! A gymnast must do gymnastics in bare feet so being autistic with being upside down and gymnastics as a special interest I became a barefoot girl because of that! I often go outside with nothing on my feet! Summery nude soles is part of being a gymnast so it is my belief that if Upside Down Girl was already part of gymnastics she would be taking off her shoes and socks before hanging upside down so because of that I assume she may not be taking gymnastics classes as of yet! However I do strongly think if Upside Down Girl ever started gymnastics she would start to love being in her bare feet just like me!

Also worth mentioning in the Recess straight to home video movie "Recess - All Growned Down" which shows the cast of characters of Recess when they were younger, has Upside Down girl hanging upside down for the very first time!

Even though the personality doesn't hundred percent match as Upside Down Girl is sarcastic and can be a little mean and I am very gentle and struggle to understand sarcasm I personally think myself and Upside Down Girl would be great friends if I was transported into the fictional cartoon of Recess! We both LOVE hanging upside down! I would hang upside down beside her and we'd be best friends! After all gymnasts are an upside down family and Upside Down Girl has the spirit of a true gymnast despite her wearing shoes and socks! Seriously take those off and go barefoot! Hanging upside down is so much cooler in bare feet! Upside Down Girl would definitely like gymnastics as the coaches would make her do flips and handstands! Lots and lots of handstands and she may even get to hang upside down by her knees in gymnastics! I bet Upside Down Girl has a gymnastics bar in her house! We sadly never get to see her home life because again so little screentime is given to Upside Down Girl which makes me sad! She is the best Recess character ever!

Upside Down Girl has so little screentime yet I adore her and maybe it is my autism but because I also LOVE hanging upside down I just cannot help but love this character so much! I bet the backs of her knees are a little sore but hanging upside down is SO cool! Well, at least us gymnasts think hanging upside down is cool! I bet Upside Down Girl would love gymnastics because the coaches would make her do upside down moves! The uneven bars would be her best event! I wonder if Upside Down Girl eats food while hanging upside down! As an adult my autism special interest is still hanging upside down so I bet even as an adult when she grows up Upside Down Girl will still LOVE hanging upside down! Maybe Upside Down Girl as an adult will get a job in the circus or become a gymnastics coach or an actor dedicated to upside down scenes or even an hanging upside down story teller in a gymnastics club reading books to children while she hangs upside down but to do that she has to not be so sarcastic but my gosh Upside Down Girl is awesome and I love her!

Upside Down Girl's is not only my favourite Recess character but also my favourite cartoon character in the universe because I truly LOVE hanging upside down too and if Disney ever makes a Recess episode focusing on Upside Down Girl I would cartwheel for joy in pure happiness! Please Disney do this pretty please! This was my post dedicated to my favourite cartoon character Upside Down Girl! 🙃💙🙃💙🙃💙🙃💙🙃💙🙃💙🙃💙

@onewithshoes Gymnastics is done in bare feet so because gymnasts turn themselves upside down a lot I think hanging upside down is best done in bare feet! 🙃👣🙃👣🙃👣 Here is a picture of some summery soles while hanging upside down on the monkey bars at the park! 🙊🙊🙊
