@Sharon1 the music was good. The story was just full of holes and unresolved threads and dangling lore.

To be fair most of Disney's kids movies aren't exactly chock full of great writing but they are at least more cohesive.
Where did Elsa get her ice powers?

Who was running the kingdom while Elsa and Ana were alone after their parents died?

How do those trolls know all about Elsa's powers?

What is going to happen to that mean prince who tried to MURDER THE REMAINING ROYAL FAMILY?

It doesn't have to be like that with kid movies. I still watch The Hobbit, the Last Unicorn, and Flight of Dragons as well as other childhood Rank and Bass productions well into adulthood and enjoy their dialog and deeper themes. Disney movies... not so much.
Also IMHO Disney ruins everything it acquires so I am a little bitter.
I'm critical but I like the movie and love Let it Go. Girl power song to the max.
