@Ghostinthemachine You know, the free food that's left over during a certain time period. Just right after the CSI is caused, and just right before the CSI is cleaned up, you have a certain time frame to gather all that food before it's confiscated.

@Ghostinthemachine Pre-ordered food from the future can't be stale, unless if said future food becomes present food, and then said present food is allowed to become stale.
