Loch Ness Monster

The Loch Ness monster and the story behind the mysterious water beast theories - 90 years since first photo, was it all/is it all a load of beloni ?
Picklebobble2 · 56-60, M
There's this thing known as 'Fisherman's tales' ?
Where those who fish exaggerate the size of their catches to impress those they talk to.
I suspect the whole thing started something like that.

@Picklebobble2 Probably so

@krass Good to have a bit of folklore mystery though isn't it ?
krass · 31-35
@Picklebobble2 yes, it makes life interesting

It's a load of horse shit. Brings in tourism and money.
krass · 31-35
@Entwistle good idea
Entwistle · 56-60, M
@krass It seems to bring in the tourists alright.
krass · 31-35
@Entwistle lots of them haha

Oh its For Sure Real
Is Simply..
Not as people perceive it or wish it to be

Most likely
Is some type of an EEL

@krass mind you
Im Not saying its some type of ancient
Long lost Monster

Science suggests... its some type of an eel
Which..could be as long as 20 feet long

If you or i..were to come nearly face to face
Of such an eel

Surely one would be Quick to think of a More Sinister creature / Monster

I Once saw a fish break the surface
(In a fresh water lake )

That had such a large mouth
My arm up to my elbow could easily fit in it
Yet..
All that was..was a Simple
Yet large fresh water fish

How cool
Would it be..for a Dinosuar type creature
To still exist

Yet..how could that be ( it Likely Can't)
Oh Well...lol

@TheDisciplinarian interesting

I'm not sure about Nessie. But at the side of Loch Ness is Boleskine House where evil Aleister Crowley lived before he died in Hastings. Maybe he had something to do with Nessie.
TheDisciplinarian · 61-69, M
The First photo of Nessie
Though is Famous...so Too is an Admitted Fake
As were several others since

Oh Well
It's all a load of nonsense, but also a tourism ploy particularly since the early 20th century
krass · 31-35
@BlueGreenGrey I think you are right, but who knows
