I Love 80s Cartoons And Movies
It's funny how certain things come in to fashion, go out of fashion and come back strong later.
I am babysitting three kids, and the oldest loves "My Little Pony", which I remember watching as a youngster, lol. I have to admit, I like watching it, and now understand what drew me to it as a young girl. And then there's The Carebears, Strawberry Shortcake, Popples, and some other things too.
A little over 11 years ago, I was babysitting thre children, and a playmate. Well, the middle kid, a girl comes up to me and begs me to watch a new children's show with her. She handed me a blank case, and I put the disc in without really looking at it. The previews played, then much to my amazed delight, The Care Bears started playing! I laughed and told the other two children who had joined us, that this was actually old, older than me. I'll never forget the look of surprise on their faces! I told them that I started watching it as an almost three years old. I even had a couple of Carebears as a child.
