Are cartoons meant only for kids?

Maybe in the 80s...

@OogieBoogie noice that makes two of us! at least

Some guy tried to have a very intelligent, respectable conversation to the contrary

(You get my sarcasm?)
@caPnAhab i love good anime - classic, and new.

I think its going to be a new era for it soon. Esp after "Arcane". It and the animated "Spiderverse"movies have shown off the creative world of 2.5D animation.

@OogieBoogie I'm not really into anime, except I've become interested in a few like Akira, Ghost in the shell, Cowboy Bebop, Gundam...
Maybe I'll start trying new ones after those

The Spiderverse really had a unique animation style
@caPnAhab oh those are all exceptionally good choices.
Castlevania is a great watch.
DeathNote is also good
Have you seen 'LoveDeath&Robots'?
Classic one 'Darkside Blues'
Trigun is brillaint
Blue Eye Samurai is really good too.

Sorry. Im kinda keen on good stories and great art

@OogieBoogie My friend was telling me About Love, Death and Robots. Looks pretty cool.

I'm interested in stories and art as well as all the world and lore building kind of stuff
@caPnAhabLore huh?
have you seen 'Secret Level'?
its kinda based on game lore

Amime and cartoons have to have good story lines for me. Otherwise its pointless.

@OogieBoogie Yep, I've heard of it. I was disappointed that the Halo/Doom crossover episode got rejected.

I'd watch the series except I'm not paying for Netflix or whatever it's on.

Good stories for me a bonus, but I also like comedy
