Favourite Popeye saying
Popeye is in a cafe and is handed a menu written in what could be presumed to be Arabic script. He looks at the menu several ways and then says "I can read written but I can't read rotten".

@SStarfish I honestly don't know what script was supposed to be but the story line comes from the book Arabian Nights. The funny thing is that the waiter began to fold the menu and spoke French as he did so. Ici la, Ici la, Ice la, ici la and as he folded it English words Bacon and Eggs $0.50 appeared.
