I Have Asmr

Mine is triggered by;

Hair cut with scissors (preferably wet hair)
Listening to someone turning the pages of a newspaper whilst reading it
Listening to someone wrapping presents
Listening to someone roll their own cigarettes (preferably a batch load)

If you have it, whats yours?

(Thanks Daily Mail, thought it was just me all this time)

Ah The Daily Mail.

The sound of a horse-race in process, with the commentator doing his thing. I hate it.
The sound of a Grand Prix in progress......those cars going around and around the track....I hate it.

@pennynoodles ASMR is the things/sounds you like and make you feel relaxed and squishy. You got any Penny? Im just on my third librarian youtube video. Keyboard clicks, the stamp, the cellophane dust covers, the beeper scanner...omg

Does the feeling have to give a positive response?

In answer to your question.....a cat's purr.

Mine is incredibly triggered by typing on a keyboard (laptop or PC though PC is better) and writing on a wooden table with a pen or pencil.
Ironicman · 56-60, M
@AnonymousJSS is that you typing or someone else.
AnonymousJSS · 22-25, F
@Ironicman Someone else. I swear the sound makes me go to sleep.
Ironicman · 56-60, M
@AnonymousJSS i know the feeling. I go into a trance like spell and get goosebumps.

I like haircut ones.
That's interesting to note about you. 🙂

I haven't bothered to notice it ever concerning myself.

I’m ignorant of what the acronym means, please explain what it is.
