Watching a movie with Steve McQueen ....

The Getaway, by any chance? I'd forgotten how many well-known actors are in that one. I think he's pretty good to look at, too.

Just read your post and all comments and I’m shocked not one mention of my 3 favorite McQueen films: The Sand Pebbles, love with a Proper Stranger, and the best western ever made The Magnificent Seven. He is my fav actor. You were watching the Getaway?

Henry Thomas (Steve McQueen), a singer and guitarist in a rock band, is on parole for a violent crime. Henry's wife, Georgette (Lee Remick), and daughter, Margaret Rose (Kimberly Block), travel to Texas to be with him as he attempts to repair his relationships and put his life back together. Henry's overbearing foster mother, Kate Dawson, doesn't approve of Henry's musical aspirations and uses the terms of his parole to force him to comply with her wishes.

He was in a lot of good movies. It's a shame he died so young.

But he was great in The Great Escape , The Cincinnati Kid, and Papillon.
