I know we are able to embed YouTube videos

But can someone explain how to do it, please?

All I ever manage is to give a link, but no actual video.

When writing a comment or story, click the image button in the top left of the text box. Along the top of the popup, you should see a "Insert video" button. Click that, then copy and paste the youtube link in the text box.
