That's one of the problems -- I can't really care about any of them any more. KILL THEM ALL, let the dragons rule their world and rule without humans!!!! I'm still not sure how the TV version, while so edited, actually seems as endless as the books!

@ChipmunkErnie: Well the tv show only has 13 episodes left...so not exactly endless. It will end with a total of 73 episodes. If you want to talk endless let's talk about the Big Bang Theory and it's 231 episodes.

@TotalEclipse: But the books will last forever -- evidently -- and the author kept the right to make the books -- if he ever writes them -- have a diffetent storyline.

@ChipmunkErnie: And? It's not like this will be the first time a show or movie has taken huge liberties in adapting from the source material.

The story only seems endless because the writer seems to not want to finish writing it, lol. He'll either finish it or he'll die and then someone else will.

@TotalEclipse: It IS one of the few times that TV adapted a series that was unfinished and the author is alive and still - slowly -- writing his own version. Don't care much either way -- the novels are endless and boring, the TV version a lot better than the books. Frankly i bought the most recent DVD set of the TV series and I haven't bothered to actually try to watch it.
